Devonice K. Austin

Devonice is an Associate Attorney for the firm of Ott & Associates Co., LPA. Devonice works with community association clients regarding enforcement and other corporate issues, as well as collection, general real estate, and business matters.

Before joining Ott & Associates in October of 2024, Devonice worked with the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, where she drafted and negotiated construction contracts as well as documents necessary in all aspects of various real estate transactions. She successfully developed litigation strategy and advised outside counsel on many litigation matters and represented the Authority in response to investigations by federal and state agencies such as the EEOC and OCRC. Devonice developed a strong, positive working relationship with judges and magistrates throughout northeast Ohio.

Devonice earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a Minor in Journalism, from Bowling Green State University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
